On-going Studies
The Dunedin Study
This study, now in its fifth decade, follows the lives of 1037 babies born between April 1, 1972 and March 31, 1973 in Dunedin, New Zealand. The multidisciplinary study produces a wealth of information on many aspects of human health and development.
Environmental-Risk (E-Risk) Longitudinal Twin Study
This study, now in its third decade, follows the lives of 2232 twins born in 1994-95 in England and Wales. The study builds knowledge about how environmental and genetic factors shape behaviors, attitudes and health.
Data-Sharing Concept Paper Guidelines
The Center for Open Science suggests that all study plans be registered in advance (see point 5 here).
The Moffitt-Caspi team and its affiliates have been writing concept papers and data-analysis plans for all paper projects since the early 1990’s, and have been registering them on a Google site since 2009.
Please look here to obtain instructions about how to complete a Concept Paper, and to see if anyone is already working on a topic in which you are interested. You can also see examples of concept papers before writing one.
