Max received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Duke University and completed his clinical internship at McLean Hospital. After a postdoctoral fellowship in the Buckner Lab at Harvard University, he is now an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Minnesota.
Max's research is focused on understanding the brain mechanisms of individual differences in aging with a particular focus on reducing the burden of age-related neurodegenerative disease.
