Madeline received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Missouri in 2010. She is a Postdoctoral Fellow, with support from the Duke University Transdisciplinary Prevention Research Center (TPRC).

Her research interests involve the causes, course, and consequences of disinhibitory psychopathology, including antisocial behavior and substance use disorders. She takes a developmental psychopathology approach to answering questions about why some people commit crimes and/or develop problems with alcohol and drugs, why and how these problems progress, and how they affect future health and development.

The Caspi/Moffitt Laboratory collaborates with Madeline in developmental psychopathology and imaging research. Click here for more information.
